Hair - Tints & Foils
Hair Colours
Service Description
Hair tints and foils are techniques used in hair coloring to create different effects and styles. Here's what each involves: Hair Tints Hair tints refer to the process of coloring the entire head of hair with a single, uniform color. This can be done using permanent, semi-permanent, or demi-permanent hair dyes. Tints can cover grey hair, change your natural hair color, or enhance your existing color. The process typically involves applying the dye to your hair, allowing it to process for a set amount of time, and then rinsing it out. Hair Foils Foiling is a method used to apply highlights or lowlights to the hair. It involves the use of aluminum foils to separate strands of hair that are being colored from the rest of the hair. Here’s how it works: Sectioning: Your hair is divided into sections. Wrapping: Small strands of hair are wrapped in foil after the dye is applied. The foil helps to keep the dye from transferring to the rest of the hair and allows for precise placement. Processing: The foils are left in place for the dye to process. Rinsing: Once the desired color is achieved, the foils are removed, and the hair is rinsed. Foiling can create a variety of effects, from subtle sun-kissed highlights to bold, contrasting streaks. It's a popular choice for adding dimension and depth to the hair.
